My future plans

In 2010, I have some plans. It is very ordinary. First of all, I want to be a good wife. Now what kind of wife am I? Married men were surveyed in Korea about who's the best wife or who's the worst wife. Best wives were those who make a lot of money. Worst wives were those who wear extended sweatshirt and dishevelled hair at home. and say hello to their husband in those clothes. These wives know savings only. Worst wife is similar to me. I will try to be kind, gentle, charming and a self-developing wife.

I told my daughter you should try to make the best of all things and I expect my daughter will be good acdemically. But I felt she is under stress. I changed my mind. Study is not more important than her personality and health. So I will help her to be able to grow up beautifully with her mind and body. I will try to read her mind with a warm heart.

I am going to make myself better than before. Living in a foreign country is important for me to learn English. So I am going to work hard to learn English. I almost didn't read any books
for a long time. I am going to regularly read a book every month.

In the long term future, if our child is grown up and we have enough money, I would like to go to the countryside with my husband. I would also like to build a pretty house in the countryside and plant vegetables in the front yard. I would like to spend time in nature. and do good deeds neighbors.

My life now and ten years ago

10 years ago I was single and lived in Goyandong with my parents. I was young and pretty. I had taught children at kindergaten. I had liked my job and worked hard .

10 years have passed. I changed my life and appearance. I have been married for 8 years. My family is living in Ajman. I am a perfect Mrs wife. I do not look like a miss anymore. When I was single, I often didn't eat meals because I wanted a slender body. Now, I find healthy foods and eat them for my health. When I was shopping I bought beautiful things. Now, I prefer practical things. When I was getting ready to go out, it took 1 hour before. Now, 10 minutes is enough . I have a lot of white hairs and started to have even forgetfulness. I sometimes open the fridge door and don't know why I opened it. It is passing after 1 or 2 seconds.

I told my husband and I pointed to my wrinkles.

I :" If there are no winkles on my face, I will look 10 years younger..... I want plastic surgery ".
H : " I think it looks fine but if you want to then do it ".
I : " The price would be high ".
H : " How expensive, it's doesn't matter ".
My husband doesn't express things well, but he has huge heart and he understands my mind. When my daughter prays she doesn't forget to pray for mom, dad, grandma and grandpa. She has a pure heart. " I love my family and I am happy !!!!! "

I lost a few things in my life, but I have more valuable things. I think happiness will be started always in our mind. It is everywhere in our daily life. I realized it a few months ago.

My childhood

I grew up in Goyang dong. My brother, friends and I used to play many things together. I spent most of the time with nature. In summer I went to the mountains behind my house. There were many kind of trees and wild flowers. We picked strawberies and swum in the stream when it was hot.

I lived in a 2 story apartment. There was a gate to the rooftop on the second floor. I laid a rush mat on the rooftop and did homework with friends. When we got bored, we looked at the clouds in the sky and talked about how they looked. Sometimes they looked like elephants or human faces.

I often went to grandmother's house with my brother. There were many beautiful flowers in the garden. My grandmother picked the balsams and dyed my finger nails a red color.
She was a great cook. All the foods that she cooked were delicious. We ate yummy lunches there.

In winther we went to ice skate in the morning and we came back home at lunch. When there was snow we made a snowman and had a snow fight. When we became bord we went up the hills and slid down with a sled.

The place where I lived changed. Now there are many modern apartments but the mountains I climbed are still there. It's more luxurious than when I was young
Memories of childhood is always fun. What are those friends in my childhood doing now? I miss them.

My year in 2009

2009 was a year that mixed good things and bad things.
There were many bad things. Last year was an economically hard year because of the economic crisis in U.S. Our stock had fallen to the bottom. The economy in the U.A.E had become seriously unstable and our economic status had become poor.I wanted to say to my husband thanks for working hard under bad economic conditions.

But there some good things. I was buddist. My husband and parents-in-law were christian. I started to go to church after I got married. I was buddist but I went to church until last summer.I was not sure that Jesus is alive. Last winter I was sure that Jesus is alive next to us.
So I became Christian.

I started English lessons with a wonderful teacher and new friends last Novenber.
I felt happy when I understood how to read and write English.
In 2009 the economy was bad but I had wonderful and great experiences.

Christmas in Korea

Christmas is always on the 25th of Dec in winter.
The weather is usually snowy but it sometimes does not snow.

Half of Korean people are Buddhist and half of them are Christian. During Christmas in Korea most Christians usually go to church to celebrate that baby Jesus was born at Christmas.
After that, they usually have some meal with their families and they exchange gifts.

Children always check the head of their bed on Christmas morning. They find the presents and are happy. They have a good time.

There are always big decoratians of
Christmas trees in the center of the city.
It looks beautiful!
We often can see Santa Claus on the streets and they give children a little present. When Santa Claus gives a present, children have big smiles. It's a happy time.

Buddists do not have a celebration on Christmas. My morther and father are Buddist. So we never celebrated Christmas and no gifts were given. When I was young I rarely thought about why Santa didn’t come to my house. I wanted to get a present on Christmas.
But I was not sad because my parents always gave me a present
called love. Anyway, Christmas is a wonderful joyful day!!!!!

My hometown is Goyangdong, a suburban city of Korea. The population is 893,965 people.
There are many mountains and parks in Goyangdong.
Many people come for jogging and chatting in the park.
It's warm in spring , hot in summer and Autumn is neither hot nor cold.
The Autumn has a high blue sky.
The leaves turn red, yellow, orange and brown.
Those views are colorful and beautiful.
Winter is cold and has a lot of snow and it is covered with snow and looks like pictures.
Many people are going to Seoul to work.
When there are going to office they take the bus, private car and subway.
When I was in Goyangdong I took the subway to work.
It is very busy in the morning.
When people finsh work they come back home and then while they eat, they chat with their family.
They have a good time together.
